In 2021, we had the privilege of partnering with the Ssenyange community in a collective effort to enhance environmental consciousness and strengthen local pride. The driving force behind this initiative was the belief that coming together to take care of our environment can have a profound impact, not only in our surroundings but also in our sense of community.
During our time in Ssenyange, we witnessed the transformational power of unity and responsibility. The clean-up activities not only contributed to a cleaner environment but also brought the community closer, instilling a sense of pride in their local area.
Dream Heart Foundation's commitment to positive change doesn't stop at one community. We aim to extend these positive changes to more villages around Masaka. Our vision is clear: we want to make these clean-up events self-sustaining by empowering local communities to take the lead in fostering a cleaner and more sustainable future.
