This financial barrier forces them to resort to unsanitary makeshift solutions, perpetuating the silence and stigma surrounding menstruation.

The Dream Heart Foundation, in partnership with AFRIpads, has taken up the mantle to address this critical issue. Our mission is clear: to empower girls and young women by providing essential sanitary items and offering sessions on sexual and reproductive health. Our aim is to break down the stigma around menstruation, encourage open dialogue, and install good hygiene practices.
