We are committed to addressing the reality that 30% of Ugandans are living below the poverty line.
We are dedicated to ending poverty in all its forms through our multifaceted approach, acknowledging the complexities of poverty:
1. Financial Poverty
Lack of the income or resources needed to meet basic necessities like food, clothing, and shelter.
2. Educational Poverty
Limited access to quality education, can perpetuate the cycle of poverty by restricting opportunities for better jobs and economic progress.
3. Health Poverty
Inadequate access to healthcare results in preventable illnesses and diseases due to poverty-related factors.
4. Food Insecurity
Inconsistent access to nutritious food that's required for a healthy and active life.
5. Shelter Poverty
Inadequate housing or homelessness, leaves individuals and families without safe and secure shelter, exposing them to various risks.
6. Social Exclusion
Marginalisation and discrimination of individuals and groups, often based on factors like race, ethnicity, disability, or economic status, hinder their opportunities and well-being.
7. Gender Disparities
Differences in opportunities, resources, and rights between genders, with a disproportionate impact on women and girls.
We envision a world where poverty is no longer a generational burden, and where circumstances of birth don't limit dreams.
Today and for future generations, we are committed to breaking the chains of poverty, paving the way for socio-economic equality for all.
As a humanitarian organisation, we are resolute in our mission to create a brighter, more equitable future. To support our cause and make this vision a reality, we need your assistance through donations.
